I have a redi-Chek, but the meat probe has been shredded, what are some good remote thermometers that other people use besides the Digi Q?

I like the ET-73. You can order a new probe from Maverick.

There was a post this week with a discount code that made the ET-73 around 40 bucks with shipping. Not bad.

If one can not locate the code, $39.99 + S/H is a pretty common price for the ET-73. I can post a link if anyone needs it.

I have the oregon scientific AW-131 which I picked up on ebay for about $38 shipped.

I have only used it once, but am getting ready to use it again on another pork butt. It worked GREAT the first time. -
