the farro salad is from my girlfriend giada. ...first, you gotta be able to find the farro. .. i only have one italian deli around here that sells it . .. . basically cook it in a pot of salted boiling water for about 20 minutes till really nice and tender (it will have a nice "chew" to it). .. . then simply add some diced sweet onion and cored and cut up tomatoes. ..then some olive oil and real good sweet balsamic vinager to taste. ...easy peasy and really really good.. . .best when left in the fridge for a few hours or even over night to let the oil and vinager to set up. ...

trust me. ..never in a million years on those little green turds. .. .if you've been reading my posts these past 8 years then you know i had to suffer with my wife's grandmother eating those things and as i've said many many times, "i don't know what was worse, the smell of those damn things while i cooked em, or the smell of nana after she atem em!!" . .

Hey Max
Thanks for the input on the farro salad. We have our egg preheating right now for a steak cook along with corn on the cob, okra from our garden, jalapeno poppers from the garden all on the egg. The wife is making the salad right now. Having veges with the main course is what makes the meal well rounded. Take no shame with having made such a great meal. Keep up the good work.

took the kids to a waterpark.... slides and tubes and all that jazz. then much gin at my parents' place which was on the way home .
til about 6 or so.
