I have never done sweet corn on the egg. Wondering how long and do I foil the ears or just leave the shucks on?
Looking to buy a dutch oven as well. What size is good for a large egg for chilli, baked beans, etc.

I do sweet corn unshucked indirect at 350 dome for about 40 minutes. I don't do any soaking or silk removal, it falls right off when its cooked. If you cook it direct give it a quarter turn every 10 minutes. -RP

I like my 9qt. DO as for corn just leave the husks on for 20-min. at 350* turn

I usually soak the corn for an hour in water. Pull back the husks and remove the silk, brush on some butter and sprinkle with s & p or your favorite rub. Pull the husks back up and grill direct 350-400 for about 20 minutes turning several times.
I don't have a large but I think you can get up to a 7qt on a large.

I have a 7 quart DO for my large BGE and it is plenty big enough. It is pretty heavy and anything larger will be even harder to handle.Large BGE

Dale, I just sent you an email.

Corn, I soak and then cook like AZRP. The next cook I am going to try not soaking like AZRP suggested.
If I stack like above I cook longer.
Dutch ovens. Man I love using tjv's spider with the DO.
Some of my DO are smaller and I have to use a drip pan to hold the DO on the spider. I both ceramic Cast Iron and just CI and both are great to work with.
I have 7, 9 and 12 qt. I mostly use the 7 or 9 qt.
Don't forget to pick up a skillet too.
