When I got my first egg it took me a while to find all the ‘stuff’ discussed here on the forum. What follows below are links to some of the sites with great information, recipes and goodies/accessories.
What you see below is not an all inclusive list and it is in no particular order. It is a good start and and will get you some quick valuable information. The following focuses on BGE Products and accessories, tools made by Forum Members. With that in mind if you come upon a site that should be included let me know.
Each of the following sites have great recipes and information. Some suggestions are provided, however, each site has much more to offer – recipes, tips, how too, tools. Take the time to visit and explore the sites below.

THANX GRANPA!!
While I have looked at many of these sites it is wonderful to have them collected for easy reference.
I am now acCULTerated or is that EGGCULTerated (?)- can't leave this site alone. Now, sadly, my computer is having fan problems and must go to the hospital for an operation. Hope the local library won't throw me out for spending so much time on their computers  :woohoo: -
.
Sorry to hear the news. Canned Air may help. Make sure you hold the fan from spinning from the air blast.

Good job, Kent. You are an asset to this forum..
Good eggin'

A wealth of info. Thanks
-
This post should be made into a 'sticky' post. Any way to have a few of those at the top of the forum?
Mark -
Simply bookmark the page or copy the address and email it to your self or copy the page and email that to yourself.

Thanks Paul,
The hard work was done by all the people in the list.
Me... I just worked the rake and did some rough gathering.
My best, Kent -
Kent, that is such a handy list that I added the link to it on my blog site. I doubt very many others will see it but I will when I need something. Plus, I can always refer people to it.
Thanks.

Kent, that list of yours keeps getting better and better. Thanks for maintaining it.

Thanks for the great post!
-
As has been said many times over Kent, THANK YOU! I always check to see if I need to update my list from your newest one :)plus those site are always adding new stuff too!
-
Thanks a million! You are making my research easier by the minute. I'm still a month away from getting to purchase my egg, so your list will help me budget for all of the add on's!! :woohoo As a professional chef I, like many of you, am a huge fan of the Thermapen so a link to Thermoworks.com might be a good addition to your list.

I thought about adding the Thermapen and MTC to the links list, but I keep wondering how long this list should be. Later on I will edit the above post and get the link up there.
I am concerned if it gets too long it will become useless.
I hope this month goes fast for you, so you can get egg'n.

mattrapp I just added the thermapen and a couple of other links.
Hopefully I made it a little easier to read.

Fantastic! I don't know how you would do it, but it would be nice to have this resource as a permanent link on the forum front page so any newcomer(or anybody looking for information) could go right to it.
Thanks again for taking the time to consolidate all of this!! -
-
The advantage of doing it as a sticky post is that as it evolves the new information is available to everyone. If we link to this posting anything new will not be on it when we use the bookmark.
In any case this is a great resource thanks for doing the legwork.

i think its getting to the point that it needs to be sectioned or indexed. getting the newbie started, must reads (the naked whiz), accessories, the big cooks (turkey, pulled pork as in maxes and wards etc). advanced cooking techniques with recipes (thirdeyes site, old daves site etc.) :laugh:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
That is just outstanding. I'm in the process of bookmarking all of those. Even though I've been here a while I didn't know about a few of those. The newbies really owe you a bag a of lump!!!
