Couple of questions-
Is that a cast iron grill? Do you like it better? How long did the potatoes take? What did you use on the flat iron's? Looks awesome! -
Very nice looking cook there Ross. I would love some fresh egged corn right now.

Yes I like the CI grill its the best for grilling, the potatoes took 1-hr at 400* and the Flat Iron Stakes were Seasoned by Trader Joe's
Ross -
We have plenty of it here in SoCal. Kent, you well have some soon

We don't get the real fresh stuff until fall. The few day old stuff is available but costly.
My son-in-law's mom lives not too terribly far from you and they have grapefruit, oranges, limes (or lemons) on their property. If the timing is right that sure is a nice visit and the fruit is just something else.
Every time is see pictures of your place, I see the skyline, think of the ocean, the growing season and wonder what the heck I am doing up here in the snow.
. Of course I don't think of the population, taxes and all the other stuff that is in the 'package'.
But, it sure is nice thinking of paradise. As usual great looking steaks. I think we should change your name to the steak man or the mean green grillin (what ever goes after that). Have a good weekend.

Ross,
Great job as always! Our TJ's out here in the desert doesn't sell Flat Iron's. I even asked the butcher at Stater Bros. (which has a great meat section) and they didn't know what I was talking about. Crazy. But next time I am in TJ's I will ask the manager.
