Pulled Beef tonight

I made pulled beef tonight and remembered to get the camera out after I had started it. I don't have a picture of the very beginning, so these will have to do. I used the 'Clay's Pulled Beef BBQ' recipe with a few modifications.
I used ginger beer and honey instead of maple syrup and water. No bacon was used either. It came out great.
Here it is 3 hours into the cook
Now into the dutch over for tenderizing
Here is the pulled beef
And finally, add the sauce and back on the grill to smoke some more
It came out very tender and tasted great.

Chuck roast is what I use and it looks like Shiff used chuck roasts also. (pot roast) Choice or prime is best.
Recipe is in our forum Cookbook, go to beef. -
What sauce did you add?
-
ditto what Clay said on the choice or prime and if you havent tried this, it rivals pulled pork! I cant make it often enough to satisfy the carnivores around here!

I did use chuck roasts. I bought them at a local market with a great butcher department. They were choice and on sale ($1.99/pound) but still very good.
They came out tender and very tasty.
Clay, thanks for the recipe.

I just used some commercial super market BBQ sauce. Nothing special. I also used the braising sauce (minus the fat) that the meat was cooked in - I think this really helps (see the recipe for info).
My wife also made some homemade rolls which added a lot to the meal.
We had plenty left over, so tonight's going to be replay.
