I bought some wings yesterday for the game, I know there will be none to be found by this weekend. I'm going to deep fry them and toss with a spicy honey mustard sauce. -RP

You and Kim come on down :woohoo: :woohoo: -
I'm thinking spares dusted with JH Pecan, cherry-smoked and sauced with Blues Hog. I might do some ABTs along with them, too.
-
Three racks of spares and some 14/16 count grilled shrimp with a tad of sauce, bacon wrapped, then sprinkle some cheddar on for the last minute till it melts.
-
Pat - Thanks for adding the link to the posting I started last week for this subject. Have you gotten all your food yet for the big game? Were do you get all that food from?
Enjoy! -
Good luck to you folks in Arizona!
Pittsburgh is good, but us Pats fans found out that 19-0 was not automatic last year
This reminds me of 2001/2002. There was no way the then super-dog Pats were supposed to beat the "Greatest Show on Turf". Ironically, Kurt Warner is now leading the underdog 7 years later.
Again, good luck and throw away from Polamalu! -
Hope you guys win Sunday Randy.Ken Whisenhunt is from here and played high school ball 1 mile from my office and then played at Ga.Tech.
Larry -
I think we're planning on drumsticks, nacho's with smoked salsa, stuffed portabellos, and I'm debating doing a pork but for sandwiches and tacos.
I still can't believe the Cardinals are in the Super Bowl! They have come a long way from the 1/3 full stadium at ASU to where they are today. -
As far as meats just the briskets which are cooking now and a few things like the meatballs which I can defrost Friday. The rest I'll pick up and start prepping Friday night. Gonna be a busy weekend   but it's always worth it :woohoo:
-
I got to work till 7, so I'm going with something simple like wings.
-
pulled pork for sandwiches (leftovers for tacos/burritos later in the week)
Wings
Maybe a couple of fatties
Moink balls -
The last time the Cardinals even got a whiff of this, they were in St. Louis and I was a rabid fan. Those were the days of Conrad Dobler and Dan Dierdorf, with Jim Hart leading the 2 minute drill better than anyone in the history of the game to that point. I was heartbroken when the Cardinals left, and held it against the organization for years. But, time heals all wounds and I hope Warner & Whisenhut can get it done.
Unfortunately, I have a business trip to a tiny town in Sweden where the chance of the game being on cable is slim to none. Even if it is, it will come on at 1AM and we have an early call Monday. -
I'm doing some ribs......need to get to the store. Maybe tomorrow as we are a bit buried today.
-
Cookin' two butts to take to a friends.
-
We are cooking 2 pizzas (using Randy's Pizza 101 post for dough and sauce), wings and white chicken chili.
Rooting for the Cardinals because if they can win it gives me hope for my hometown Bengals. But then again, it is the Bengals so I know not to be too hopeful... -
I will be in Las Vegas for a 2 day Super Bowl golf tourney on Fri & Sat and then we will go to a huge Super Bowl party Sunday...Go Cardinals.... :woohoo:
-
i got chuck roll going for pulled beef, i have brisket in the brine for corned beef reubens, and ham in the curing brine, Im gonna smoke it for sandwiches,. good party this year thanks egg!
-
Since I own liquor store, I am charged with providing wine, Opus One has been requested-yeah right!
I may surprise the with some "mock gyros" (and wine).
Walt -
GO CARDINALS! You are an underdog, just like me, cooking my first brisket as my first smoke!
-
Beef tenderloin,ABT's,a fattie,and BBQ shrimp
-
Hey AZRP, well I was thinking of wings also. Bought some but need more. Half of them with buffalo wing sauce and the other half with sweet glaze. Diana Q will make a dip and a tray of vege's, chips and crackers with sliced cheese. I'm looking forward to the game. :P
The honey mustard sauce sounds great. Have fun! -
I have salad bowls, mixing bowls, ...
What is a super bowl? -
Man you have no hope rooting for those guys
The most appropriate thing I've seen was coming back home from Atlanta on I-75 seeing an exit with two signs. One for the Bengals training/practice field...and another one for a prison
Watching channel 12 looks like you guys got hit worse than us. -
Reminds me of the joke we used to tell about Cleveland: The only sign of life in Cleveland is the sign on 71 south reading "Cincinnati - 210 Miles"... :P
The weather here is miserable. Schools closed for the 3rd day and side streets are barely passable. At least we still have power. I'm just hoping my XL egg de-ices enough so I can open it before Sunday. :ermm: -
Spares and ABTs here, though I'm developing a hankering for wings and/or shrimp.
My understanding is that Messrs Polamalu and Harrison will be providing an ample supply of spatchcocked Cardinal... :P
