I have always hated eye of round. Canadian beef is different than US and there is nothing you can do to fix it. This one was vacuum marinated for three days and I thought that might do it.
I had a couple of pork tenderloins as a backup.
Some veg in homemade chicken stock
Mashed potatoes with youghurt and chicken stock
I WANT BACON!!!

trying to cook healthy, a bold proposition to be sure, so I think I have the solution. Next time, do exactly the same thing, but top it with a swine pie, you'll be fine - honest :laugh:happy in the hut

Get the eye of round, slice it lengthwise and make jerky!

It has to do with the ammount of corn as opposed to grain in the diet. Also there is an age difference in the slaughtered animal. There Are some conditions on yellow fat. Bottom line is eye of round cuts like a Rawlings football here.

Congrats on the Eagles. Swine pie is an essential topping for any heart healthy dish. Great dessert with whipped cream as well.
