Chef in the Making

My wife and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in January. We are aking a cruise on the Holland American Line to their island, Aruba and Curacao. We were wondering if anyone has taken that cruise and if so what excursions would you recommend.
Thanks
Thanks

Congrats on the 40 years :woohoo: If you have time while in Aruba,I recommend Baby Beach,it's beautiful there :)I would also(time allowing)go on a jeep tour to the Natural Bridge. We just rented a 4x4,and drove all the way around the island(a lotta fun)but we were there for a week.Have fun

Congrats on the 40th. We will see our 30th this year in Hawaii for her and Alaska for me. The car ferry to AK will let me keep a small in the trunk that should be great for some fresh salmon or some tempura fried halibut. No egg for HI though. Have a great trip!

congrats on your thirty. I can honestly tell you that it feels only like yesterday that we got married. We went to Alaska a few years back annd loved it. Went halibut and salmond fishing. I didn't own an egg back then so I cooked them the old fashion way in the stove.

It has been a great ride we would do it all over again. Not sure which one we will do but will probably go to baby beach as we both love the water

John,
Congrats on the anniversary! In Aruba we took a cab out to the dock for a ferry to DePalm Island. For $50 we ate, drank and snorkeled for hours. Open bar, bbq buffet and snorkeling gear was included. The ships excursion brought a load out there but they only stayed for less than 2 hours and cost twice as much. This was about 4 years ago, so prices probably have changed. Doug, I drove to the bridge in a rental car, don't recall needing a 4X4. -RP

You're right Randy, but what was the other site that required a 4x4?I can't remember, but when I rented the car,I had to sign something saying that I wouldn't go there.Of coarse,I went there anyway
Is it the Natural Pool?I'll have to look at my old pics
