I just bought one yesterday. How do you pick the thing up? It doesn't look like the grill gripper isn't going to be strong enough is it?

I don't know if it is the safest way to go but I pick it up with the handle end of my ash tool. It seems to work well.

I have the grid gripper. I want one of the third hand tools thirdeye. One more question which side is up?

I flip my grid lifter over and pick it up. Seems very stable and I only move it a foot or 2 from the fire and back.

Thought the same thing today, using it for the first time.
Sounds simple, but I used the porcelain grid cleaning tool to lift and an oven mitt to grab ahold of it.
