Quick Boston Butt Question

I just bought 17+ lbs worth of Boston Butts from Sam's... and it appears to be 2 Boston Butts in one package.
If I'm cooking them at the same time on my Large BGE, should I stick my meat probe in the smaler one, and take it off when it's 195 internal... then stick the meat probe in the larger one, and take it off after it's 195?
And just to make sure I'm estimating the cook time correctly, I'm looking at 1.5 - 2 hrs per pound times the weight of the larger one... NOT 1.5 - 2 hrs per TOTAL weight of both butts, right? (Because I'm cooking 2 approx 8 lb butts, not 1 17 lb butt...)
THANKS!!

You got it right 1.5 - 2 hours for the butt not the total weight.....might want to push em to 200° if you got the time...you would want your polder or similar in the smaller one till done then plug it into the larger one..
Good luck... -
Okay great, thanks! Just making sure.

Just make sure you do not have the 2 butts "butted" up against each other. Leave some space between the two.

Okay, will do! Thanks!
