I would call BGE. They had quite a few t-shirts left.
-
Why would you want a shirt for an event you did not attend? It should be earned by traveling to the event in person and paying full admission.
-
Be nice Oxboy! I'm sure he would've loved to have been there.
-
Probably for the same reason you post without joining the forum. "Because he can"
-
I don't care one way or another if the guy wants a Tee shirt, but wouldn't he feel kind of hollow wearing it? It'd be like having an "OBX" license on the front of your car when you've never been to the Outer Banks. What would you say when people asked you how the Eggtoberfest was?, "I wasn't there, I just wanted this cool Tee shirt." Just my 2cents. Mark
-
But I have been to the Outer Banks hehehehe
Maybe Otobiz just collects them.. I have a whole collection of Boy Scout Patches for events I never attended including one from the 1938 National Jamboree that was never held. Couldn't be there even if it was held since I was born in 1953.
Otobiz's reasons are Otobiz's -
Yes, I agree. There's two sides to every coin. Mark

I thaught it would be nice to wear something with pics of eggs on it, no one around here in Canada really knows about eggs, other than the few canadians that where at the fest that I know.
Steve -
I agree egging in Canada is not widely popular...but I am Canadian...love the eggs I own...and no I was not at Eggtoberfest. There are some of us Canadians that love our eggs in relative silence....
All the best -
Call the retail store in Atlanta or call the Mothership and talk to Regina. If there are some left I am sure they will sell them too you.
I will attend the First Annual "Eggfest, Eh!" :woohoo: -
I was supposed to get otobiz one while I was down there but I got sidetracked cooking, drinking beer and laughing and having fun with all you guys that I forgot, so lets cut him some slack...its my fault I should have picked one up for him.
cheers -
Hi Celtic, Eggfest Eh is already in the planning stages, and I kind of figured you'd show up, eh?
-
Sooooo we can pick on you instead??? :woohoo:
-
If it's held in Ontario I can drive up I-81 and throw rocks at my ex-wife.. Course I will come!!
-
No problem, just like everything else I did or didn't do on the weekend I'll blame it on all the fantastic American beer I drank... kind of like pleading the fifth with a hangover
Cheers -
hey Ryan aka wolverine, when where you gonna let me in on the eggfest eh, event.
steve -
You better bring a big truck and pick up the rest of the characters(eggheads) along the way...they can help you throw rocks
-
Now there is an Oxymoron -- Fantastic AMERICAN BEER
It was fun wasn't it... -
Time to get my Passport renewed
The new laws will be in affect by then!! -
The absolute best!!!! I was very happy to meet you and everyone else, there was not a dull moment all weekend.
-

This is not a shirt that you have to earn. Going somewhere and paying for something is not earning it. It's not like a Peachtree Road Race shirt that you earn by running a 10k. -
Doesn't one have to pay to register for the race? And don't all who pay get Tee shirts? Sorry, I don't see the difference.
-
now that is what this Forum is made of, this guy would give me the shirt off his back.
Steve -
Egging is not popular in Canada? Wow! There were at least 20 (& I hear that there were more) folks who traveled down from Canada to be there.
Some of the best food cooked was by Little Steven and Mikeb6109.
I met many very nice Canadians at the fest and was actually thinking to myself...."Self, Egging must be extremely popular in Canada". -
yep when Melissa (AlaskaC) found out I was homeless (Thanks Max you are a pal) she gave me a Sitka T-Shirt so I would have something to wear..
Even though I have never been to Sitka I will wear it proudly... -

Nope, you have to run(or walk) the 10k. You get the shirt after. It is a badge of honor. -
Gotcha and good enough. You can tell how many races this fat fart runs! I'm glad none of us had to run to get our Eggtoberfest Tee shirts. Now that would've been a sight! :woohoo:

oxboy,
I have a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey with a picture of the Stanley Cup on it....like that ever happened.
