As is always the case, BGE put on yet another AWESOME fest. We got to meet a bunch of new friends, and actually managed to spend quite a bit of quality time with some older friends. The food needs no comment from me as it was "all" absolutely top notch. hopefully we can get some pics up on the website this week, just have to see how busy things get....And I will take this oppurtunity to mention that we are starting planning "Tikifest" look for an anouncement VERY soon, we hope to get it in before thanksgiving, don't want the weather to get to cold.....To all we met this weekend, the pleasure was ours, and we highly look forward to seeing everyone at the next fest....

    Wess is right on the money. Those BGE folks had to work through the aftermath of a rainstorm to take care of all of us. The grounds had muddy spots the evening before, but in usual BGE style they took care of all the issues and we had a great meet and greet. The next morning the BGE crew put out 225 eggs for us to use, as well as helping everyone get set up. UNBELIEVABLE! Think of the effort it takes to roll 1 egg from place to place around your homes. Now think about 225 eggs moved 50 yrds through saturated ground, while they are receiving 1500 people and their gear. My hat goes off to Bobby,John,Doug,Brenda Jodie and all the others whose labors made our day so fantastic. Major Kudos!

    Wess, It was great to meet you and Sally. We had a blast. I guess by chance, we ended up sandwiched between y'all and Qbabe/Qbh on one side and the chickens with Frank on the other at the fest.

    As for the food, it was all good!

    Yep, have been to Ocala, you can see the pics of it on my website below....and Tonia and Larry are some of our original "friends" in the egg family...They put on a wonderful fest and I would highly recommend it to anyone cosidering it. There is absolutely no 2 people you will ever meet in life that are more genuine that Tonia and Larry..I / we are honored to be able to call them friends..and trust me, anyone who gets the opportunity to meet them will say the same thing. Don't think you will see us there this coming year as we would like to do Eggs by the Bay, which was going to be our next "new" fest...but after Atlanta we may be doing Chicago next year with Jim's sister instead of California, only time will tell... It's all good...

    I heard 225 wasn't enough. Ther were XL's and mediums all over the place. I would really like to know how many were actually put out.
