All,[p]There have been a ton of posts asking about "do I need a V-Rack", "do I need a Plate Setter", "is it ok to ..." that I thought some last minute friendly advice about raising a turkey off a drip pan would be in order.[p]In the absence of the named toys ... ummm tools, you can always place celery stalks or carrots in a drip pan and sit the turkey on top of the vegetables to appropriately raise a bird off the pan. Hell, even Alton Brown demonstrated this on one his turkey shows over the past week. I believe he also added onions to his.[p]So don't worry, there is always a way without having to run out to the store in a panic to get one of these contraptions. Your bird will turn out great.[p]Happy Turkey Day,
Puj
