Tonight I ate very well :woohoo: I did bacon wrapped scallops in the CI skillet on the medium. Then the XL was cooking up some stuffed fritos and crab legs :woohoo: All came out great even though this was my first try for everything Here's a few pics :cheer: They are in no particular order, and I hope there aren't too many

The scallops look awsome. Butter and bacon, what more could you ask for?
-
Yes you did. I've never cooked scallops in a CI pan. Looks like I need to ASAP.
Mike -
Hey mirko, the crab legs were done at 350 for about 10-15 minutes or so I'm not really good at keeping up with time
-
Thanks Greg,it was pretty damn good
-
Hey thanks Bente, that is my raised grid for the XL.I would make a round one,but I really don't need the extra grillspace
-
You're not kidding BamaFan,what else is there :silly:
-
Nothing on the mini?
For shame Doug, for shame.
You need some help eatin' all that stuff, you just holler. -
Hey Mike, they were great.I was gonna do them direct on the CI grate, but though twice about it.I didn't want to scorch $30 worth of scallops and bacon
-
I'll try the mini tomorrow at Kim's,if you help me straighten out the band
-
Doug, I thought my dinner was good, but I gotta say the eclectic mix you put together is outstanding, are you enjoying a fine beverage as well I hope :silly:happy in the hut

Come on Zippy, stuffed fritos go with anything At least here in the south they do :silly: And yes, there has been a couple of adult beverages consumed
-
Doug,
That looks fantastic!! I am not quite that brave yet. I also like the frito pan. Great idea. I went to Home Depot in Cumming for 5 and ½ inch stainless steel nuts and bolts. They told me they do not stock such large stainless steel bolts. Not sure if you would know where to get them.

Hey Mike,I didn't use stainless steel(I ain't scared) :woohoo: But you can try Tractor Supply in Dawsonville or Northern Tool in Duluth They have pretty good selections.

Hey zippy,I just used lean ground beef mixed with shredded cheese :woohoo: Threw them on the XL at 350 till they looked good :woohoo: Pull them off and add a bit of salsa and sour cream.Hard to beat :woohoo:
