I would like to go and meet some fellow PA eggers, but it's clear across the state from me and I'm already committed to Eggtoberfest. It's hard to believe that I've been egging for 1 1/2 years and not even met another egger let alone one from PA. I guess most of us PA eggers kind of keep to ourselves. I only know of four others that participate in the forum; 70chevelle, smokinguitarplayer,MrEpic and Zippylip.

You can make it five including me. I'm from the Lancaster area and I'll be attending the Woodburners PA Eggfest in September.

WW, you in the burgh? Where are the others you mentioned if you know? I am right outside of Philadelphiahappy in the hut

Smokinguitarplayer is from Reading. He has an awesome store. He cooks most weekends. Lots of rubs and marinades for sale along with most any accessory you can imagine.

Mercer is only about an hour north of Pittsburgh, but it's very rural. Most of the traffic I run into on my way to and from work are Dutchies in their buggies. My Egg dealer is almost an hour away.

Yeah, the playoffs were great except we lost. We lost a couple of key players too in Hossa & Malone. I hope we can repeat this year, but right now my focus is on the Steelers.
-
Not from PA, but a Steeler Egger trapped in Texas from central W. VA.
Hope our Steelers have a great season! With the schedule and new O-line it will be tough.
Hope to travel to the Burg for the December 7th game with the Cowboys! Looking for Tickets.
Here we go Steelers! -
i will be there and cooking for the third time, , there may be some well known eggers there as well ... i will post this weekend with more info.. there is a father and son in law team that has been there the last 2 years. they serve up good stuff and are a joy to watch .. i had their potato salad and pullled pork for dinner last night wow. . this has been a relatively small fest but get bigger each year and is a good day ..would be nice to meet some more forum members ..

I've been to the last three and cooked at the last two. They have all been fun days. I'll be cooking again this year. I don't post much but I do read the forum daily. I'm from Newtown in Bucks county.

I am thinking about making the trip, about 2 hours from me but I'm new to the Egg and this would be my first fest. Thinking it is a good place to start and meet some people in person.
-
You won't regret it. Good people and great food. Also the best chance to learn some tips and see how things are done.
