This community's overwhelming (in a good way!).
For someone new to Egging (as opposed to egging), can anyone recommend some must-read recipes here in the forum to get me started? Or any other threads that are essential reading for novices?
Perhaps this thread can serve as a sort of FAQ that future newbies can be sent to to study up on the most essential forum treasure....

One of our grand wizards has a list of good ceramic cooking sites. Start ith this one and then come back in a few hours, hopefully he will post by then.

I went and searched and found one of his posts. This has links to the sites.

Mike,
Thank you for posting the link.

Thirdeye's website has become one of my favorites.
http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/
He has some great info all over his page.
At the very bottom of his page there is a section called introduction to Barbecuing. I learned a lot from this section after I had been egging for almost a year.
Whiz's site is also good, but I see many others have already provided a link to his site. -
Just trying to help out as much as you do. Thanks for all the work Kent.
Might I see you in ATL this year? -
Mike,
I would love to go to both the Coop-De-Do and Atlanta but it just isn't going to happen. I can't even get up to the western fests.
I am hoping I can get my stuff together for next years fests.
I sure would like to say hello... I would dearly love to taste some of the egg food from the folks on the other side of the country - heck I would like to taste some the the egg food out here and further west.

Go to either Whiz's or WessB's site and look for the Eggtoberfest recipe files. Lots of ideas in there for you.
