And another thing Captain Cooks' kitchen was a Mess too.

When I registered to begin asking questions I had no idea what to use since I've never had a nickname that stuck. I had been cutting the grass or something like that and I was drinking a Cold Natural Light. Since nothing else came to mind CNL seemed reasonable especially since my eggs work better when I have a cocktail or few.

In High School Latin class we had to choose Greek Nicknames to call each other during the entire semester. I chose Bacchus because it sounded similar to my real last name and I thought it was cool that he was the Greek God of Wine and spirits. As an adult I have taken a liking to Red Wine so it fits even better.

Very simple. My last name is Conrad and backwards equals Darnoc.

Self explanatory i hope.

I got my name because when my now husband and I got together he had this pitiful charcoal grill. It took me a few years to convince him to buy a gas grill (I know, I know ) When he finally did I took over the majority of grilling because he didn't know how to grill on a gas grill....thus I became "Grillmama"
Since then we have seen the light and now have our first LBGE since July. Yeah! -
Last name is Hitchcock, and I have been called Hitch for as long as I remember. Played soccer in college & became known as Big Hitch when my little brother came the year after I graduated and was called Lil' Hitch. Most folks don't know my first name.

I was reading the forums for a long time before I register and seen so many unique names about food. I love cooking pork butt of course and I said to the wife how does Pork Butt Mike sound and she said she like it. So then a few people started to call me PBM and there you go.

I've got a bunch of nephews who started calling me "Uncle Gandalf" probably from some movie or something. I've always assumed it has something to do with a my white hair and looking wizard-like I spelled it differently just to be differently.

I was there too spring. I was about to email and ask which state LD to see what state he was from.
Reminds me of a Texan and Alask'n talking smack in the middle of the Golden Gate bridge about which state is bigger.
Braggin about this and that, drinking, more bragging, more drinking and more bragging.
Finally the Texan said I need to go to the side of the bridge and relieve my self.
The Alask'n said I do to, and went to the oposite side of the bridge.
While facing out over the water the Alask'n turned his head and yelled 'Ohhhh, the water is cold down there'. The Texan turned his head and yelled 'yea, and it's rocky on the bottom too.'
---- Anyway, glad that's all sorted out.

A few years ago my grandson (now 13 yrs old) wanted me to open a BBQ joint and call it Pop"s BBQ. When I told him I was going to join this forum he said I had to be Pop's BBQ. He usually gets his wish from me.

I live on Medford Circle. Thought E-on-M sounded good. Relates more to the egg than to me, reflecting my bbqing inexperience, I guess.
Enjoying the info on this topic. -
