I was thinking that you were relating to trollers (often times not associated with fishing)...

Three reasons…
In the past I only joined forums if I wanted to read, very seldom post. This forum is how I made my decision to get an egg and couldn’t figure out a name. Didn’t want to be tagged with my name ‘Kent’, CB Handle ‘boobie trap’, ’short fuse’, ’flying dutchman’ or Ham Radio call sign ‘KC7XQ’, or how I describe what I do ‘just an old fart, putter’n around out here in Utah’. So trying to figure out a name I defaulted to the following.
I've had a couple of dishes I have always made, pre egg, which the family & extended family love. Some dishes I copied & adapted, some handed down from ancestors and some are just fun stuff to eat. I have never given out any of those recipes and now that the kids think I am getting old they don’t want those recipes to be lost. I told them I would make a book, Grandpas Grub (something I still have to do).
5 married children and 13.8 grandkids at this point. When any or all the grandkids come over I will say who wants some ‘Grandpas Grub’. The louder they yell the better the grub. If they break ‘the loud barrier’ it’s ice cream cones or the ice cream truck (if I can hear the music before the g-kids do). It only took a couple of times winning plain bread before they got the idea.

I'm still a working stiff (and for about 20 more years)so the weekends are the only time when I really get to have fun and experiment with the Eggs so Weekend Warrior was a natural fit. I didn't even know that there was a charcoal named after me :woohoo: until I spent some time on the forum.

Wonderful story! In the words of Red Skelton, "May God Bless"! 8 - )

Did my undergraduate at West Virginia University (the Mountaineers). Seemed like a pretty flawless fit to add the EGG in there.

I envy your schedule. As a small business owner, at times weekends are my busiest times. My wife would like a more "traditional" lifestyle. At least I can be at swim meets, baseball games..etc. and egg on a weeknight.
I sometimes really wish for a weekend "off" schedule.

I am an avid Bass fisherman and my favorite technique is to "Carolina rig". My favorite soft plastic to fish on the rig is a lizard, carolina rigging consists of dragging your bait along the bottom, hence the name Lizard Dragger.

When I tried to setup my first email account on MSN I wanted to use my last name but it was taken couple of tries later I just used my street address after my last name.

I've been a big Seattle Mariners fan since day one through good and mostly bad. I've never had a nickname so Mariner Mike is what I came up with.

And all this time I thought you were boasting in a manly sort of way LOL...

I used to be a professional jazz musician, now I am a teacher and teach band and jazz band. I have been jazzman on a few other forums, and many know me as just "jazzy", so I figured why change now?
