What is the max temp an egger can expect to get out of a mini?

    As much as any other egg. At least 800, probably more.

    I've seared on my mini with the temp gauge rolled around - probably since the stem of the thermo is closer to the lump in the mini.

    It's a lean mean steak searing machine.

    I don't know...yet, maybe. In a weak moment, my wife, while planning our Thanksgiving week at the beach, said today, wouldn't it be nice to have a mini egg to take to the beach so we can cook steaks like your brother does. Christmas in July (November) indeed! Way to go, Bro-

    Do they make a cast iron grid for the mini?
