Had some time to kill between client visits today so I stopped in to browse. Immediately one of the guys sprung to his feet to ask if I was in the market for a grill. I responded that he was the guy I bought my gasser from last time I was in the store 3 years ago. I then offered to sell it back to him for half price because I now am an "egger". He replied "The Big Green Egg is the best grill in our store". That revelation comes at no surprise, but I was a little surprised to hear him say it, especially with other customers in earshot looking at gassers priced over $1000. Anyway, they have a prety good selection of eggsessories as well as rubs, etc.

I've always enjoyed laving Vegas, driving up the highway towards Henderson. Stoping at the casino (can't remember the casino name for the life of me right now) for their buffet lunch, then past Henderson and up to Mead. Have not been that way for some time now. Anyway fun memories.

Which store? Was it the Duluth store?

I like to go in there and act like I have no idea what I want and let them steer me. They are good at selling, and most of their sales staff know the egg pretty well.

They do have a great selection of rubs and sauces.

I went to the Kroger in Dacula, but as far as I know they are all selling it at the same price of $1 per bottle. The bottle size normally sells for $2.49 and that's a huge savings in my book. Just check the expiration date. The ones I bought are good thru Feb 9, 2009 (I'm sure they can stretch some past this date if kept in a cool place).

that is so funny!!!!! i go into my local egg store and i usually wear a egg shirt and ask about an egg!!! sometimes i sit there thinking "This guy is getting ready to say ("I know the propane hooks up some where")"

i guess sometimes i just go in there to amuse myself... and it is always funny to ask stupid questions that most people around here already know like "Should i use kingsford?"

like i said i sometimes go into there to amuse myself
