Ordered 4 different rubs from JH Friday. Pecan, Hot Pecan, Rasberry Chipolte, and Sugar Maple. Arrived today with no Pecan and 2 Sugar Maple. Called to see if I messed up or if shipping did. Nice lady on the other end did not even question me. She just said the Pecan would ship out and to keep the extra Sugar Maple! Wow that how to keep a customer coming back! Couldn't wait to try so pulled out some brats and shrooms and sprinkled the Rasberry Chipolte and on the grill.

Second only to DP we love the JH rubs..Pecan, Hot Pecan, Jalapeno, Raspberry Chipotle, Tammy's Herbal, Apple Jerk Chicken, and Mojave Garlic Pepper are all favs around here....

I just picked up a bottle of the Pecan. The Sugar Maple is very sweet. The last i did ribs I went 50/50 with Sugar Maple and any rub you like without sugar. To me it was great flavor on the mix; the wife prefers them sweeter than I do.

Yo Bama,
take an 8 oz container of GOOD sour cream and mix a tablespoon or more of any of those JH rubs in it and let set for a while to dissolve the sugar and it makes the most awesome veggie and chip dip..........
the Raspberry Chipotle is my favorite to dip raw veggies into especially cauliflower.

ditto that slot!!..I use the Rasp Chipotle almost exclusively on veggie 'however' I am fixing them!

I just got my "texas size" 29oz pecan rub today also. Its my favorite rub for pork. John Henry will be making alot of money off me. :cheer: :cheer: You cant beat it

My local BGE dealer carries John Henry. I'm gona pick some up this weekend. The last time I was there, the made some ribs with a couple of John Henry rubs. They were great!

Couldn't help myself. Just placed my order for the Pecan, the rasberry chipotle and the sugar maple. I included a bottle of the rasberry chipotle marinade just to try it. In for a penny, in for a pound. rc

Been a big fan of the DP rubs, and have been wanting to order some of John Henry's, but I want to make sure they're the same quality as DP's as far as all natural/no additives/no MSG/no anti caking agents.

I can't find a jar around here to look at and I've not gotten an answer from JH to my email.

Can one of you folks who's got a jar sitting around please look at the label on the pecan or raspberry rub and tell me if there's any ingredients on there that you can't pronounce?

No Artificial Ingredients
No MSG
No Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil
No High-fructose Corn Syrup
