Team bobby-q, dizzypig rule in D.C.!

Big green eggs made quite a showing at the DC Barbeque Battle this weekend in our nation's capital, with Team Bobby-Q finishing second overall and Dizzypig finishing fifth. Notable highlights include:

Team Bobby-Q:
1st place chicken, 1st place brisket.

Dizzypig:
1st place ribs. 2nd place pork, 4th place brisket

An awesome showing for both teams in a very competitive field with some of the nation's most successful teams.

    whoa dude. .. lets not forget your's and nighthelp's most excellent showing (even if you were cooking with metal, i'm still looking at a BGE in you driveway across the street so its still appropriate to laud your accomplishments here), taking first in pork in the kcbs comp and a HUGE 1st place in pork shoulder in the MIM comp yesterday, finishing second in the MIM to the one and only myron mixon!!!! .. . now that is BIG TIME !!!!!

    no, sydney was sleeping, chris is working her so hard that she needs the weekend to recover, LOL. .. .and i was just down there making a nuisance of myself for a few hours :lol: . .. i'll tell you though, i feel like i was in the presence of greatness though, being around all those guys. . . dang, they are all really on a roll these days . .. its cool to see!!! brett's basement is starting to look like a junk yard with all that hardware he and andy are collecting!!!
