i did this and it was fantastic

Last one I did was in the slow-cooker and it was to die for! I believe I followed the directions on the package (or found a simple recipe on the web) and along with the spice packet that came with the meat, I added cabbage, carrots & potatoes. Rnjoy!~

I just took mine out of the fridge. I am doing the pastrami recipe on thirdeye's site. I am following the 2nd option for wet pastrami.
Tomorrow evening will be hot pastrami on rye with some kraut and hot mustard and pickles.

I did the wet pastrami recipe from Thirdeye's site and sliced it thin and served it at an early St. Paddy's family get together last night and it was delicious. Best of all, its an easy cook.

Very simple cook.
Follow the thirdeye method Playing With Fire & Smoke see bill's and fidel's posts above for the link.
This is fantastic. We are doing 6 at the same time for the occasion. Both methods are great but personally I like the wet method.
This also great with hamburger for Pastrami Burgers. Pile the pastrami high.
