Harpoon This Weekend

As some of you may know, The Harpoon BBQ Championship Of New England is this weekend. This is a great festival with food, beer, and bands all day and into the night Saturday and Sunday, and there will be several teams cooking on Eggs. Come on up, have some fun and say hello.
What most of you don't know is that this is the culminating event in the New England BBQ Society. Team of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards are presented, and the current leader in the Rookie of the Year pack is our own Eric and Cindy Mitchell of Yabba Dabba Que, the only all-Egg team currently competing in New England. They have been racking up trophys since jumping into the competition circuit last fall and equally as impressive is their current ranking of 6th place in the overall Team of the Year Standings
