Pork Chops

I got some 2" pork chops ready to cook...[p]I was going to cook like steaks.....Get the egg to about 600 and sear for a few minutes on each side and then shut the egg down until chops got to temp.....My steaks always come out great, but haven't done chops....Any other recommenddations??

To late, I like those thick ones low and slow. Indirect with apple wood.

Man, those look good! I haven't tried chops low and slow yet. These were a happy medium at ~425F until 140 internal.[p]Ribs will be ready soon. CWMish with mustard and Bad Byrons rub, followed by apple juice spritz every hour. Habanero sauce will be on the side. Negro Modelo is my juice this evening.[p]Happy Sunday evening.

SouthOfI10,[p]I do my pork chops the exact same way - about 400-425 direct until 140-145 I.T. Bone in are much preferred to the butterfly cut or boneless.[p]Funny, mine look like yours too...
