thirdeye,[p]Had to enjoy three glorious days like this one.. Posted these pictures yesterday, but they are all I have. My large played host to my Dutch Oven Glazed Ham and Sweet Taters Saturday. [p]
[p]What is a holiday without a brat? So I made a fattie brat. Stuffed with Jalapenos and Cabot's Hunter's Choice Seriously Sharp Cheddar and rolled in Raging River. It was GOOD!!![p]

when you forget the camera at home, use thier camera to take a picture of a meatloaf, and then ask them to email you the picture in the morning. still not sure if i will get that pic, hopefully ill get the one of dad holding up a 7 pound landlock, his biggest so far. meatloaf was good, did a roll with velveta cheese, bbq sauce worcestershire, onions, and some witchy red rub, laced it with bacon and cooked it raised grill direct till crispy outside, then into a pan with chef cut tomatoes til done. was very good, epecially the tomatoes with the oozing cheese

[p]Thirdeye, thank you for your webblog "Playing with Fire and Smoke", we made your green chili recipe this weekend and made Pulled Pork Enchiladas smotherd in green chili sauce and cheese. We left out the ground pork and just made it more like a sauce. Excellent! [p]

Yesterday we went to Biloxi National Cemetary to pay our respects to the fallen and others who have served.[p]

It was an ok haul. That pic was from the first day and we turned in 9-10 fish. The next day was slower - we only had three. Yesterday we turned in 6 I think. All I know is that I am sore and tired!
I don't think Brent and I are going to go out next weekend, so I am done for this year's derby.
I can't wait to get out there and get some fish that we will actually keep!

<p />Howdy onehazelnut,[p]Nice to hear about the variation on the chili. With that same meatless thought in mind I've been testing a verde sauce. It's almost ready to publish on my site. Keep an eye out in the sauce section. It is especially good over spinach, onion and cheese enchiladas. Good over rice too.[p]~thirdeye~[p]
