<p />Beef tenderloins being seared before being made into beef wellington

-
guava greg,
Yours is probably older. I think that is a Pfaltzgraff "grapvine" dish we got as a wedding present 11 years ago. We do have some older stuff that we got from our grandparents but they don't get used much.
-
thirdeye,[p]where is the recipe for those beans ? Look mighty good to me.
-
AlaskanC,
i'm being asked to do beef wellington again. we did the little "individual" kind... might like to do a whole one this time.[p]did you marinate in cognac or brandy, etc?
i only ask because we marinated the individual steaks and got some good penetration by the marinade. wondering how well the whole tenderloin marinates.

stike,[p]I didn't marinate them in anything this time - I just coated them with olive oil then salted & peppered them. I never heard of marinating in cognac or brandy - I'm going to have to try that next time!
-
Smokey,
I've never seen that. Why roll it?
