Hi all old and new,
Years back, I did a lot of egging and remembered we would post a random weeknight cook just because. Looking around, it doesn't look that way.
Has things changed or everyone waiting for warmer weather? Are weeknight cooks in a different category? Looking around, looks like everyone posts in the general location.
Hoping to get my BGEs a bit more use and getting inspiration from this group??? Just trying to fit in again.

    Great to hear from you! What the lastest bike adventure?

    Most cooks have ended up in the, "What Are You Chefing Tonight Dr" thread.

    I noticed that too..and wondered if people still troll and get threads nuked and post really funny stuff? Seems less active the last couple days compared to what I remember. (I also just checked in after a long hiatus) Perhaps more people are doing social medial now instead of the forum?

    How many miles did you put on this trip? Any issues with the bike during the trip? Things you liked or would have done differently? Hard to even wrap my head around what a trip like that. So awesome!

    That adventure needs its own thread.

    Years ago Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman did a similar ride around the world adventure (looks like close to the same route), I watched the (six?) DVD set and was fascinated; and now you've done the adventure in real life!

    I agree with the others, would love to read the details/see the photos of your adventure.

    Reminds me of a book I read a few years ago:

    @bigguy136

    Is this adventure chronicled on another platform anywhere?  This is amazing.

    I bought the extended set of this series.

    ...I also have a blog on Yamaha Super Tenere. That covers the full history from me buying my motorcycle, the prep, rides to Alaska, Central America and then my around the world. It's a very long read and has hundreds of pics. I think you need to be a forum member (free to join) to see the pics in full size. I'm still posting my trip and currently up thru fall of 2023 and one more year remaining. I should have it finished in the next few months. Bigguy Rides - 2014 S10 Travels - Finished Riding a Lap Around The World | Yamaha Super Tenere Forum

    Thank you, bookmarked!
    I've been puttering around on an '09 BMW R1200 over the years, lots of out-of-state trips but have never ventured out of the US on it.  Need some inspiration to get away from these d*** Dr. appointments!
