OT: My Wife Thinks I Have A Problem

We are having some work done on the house starting Monday so I needed to relocate most
of my alcohol so that it was out of the work area.

She sees this as a problem, I see it as a good start.

Great collection.  I'm focused on the EH Taylor-something I can occasionally find at MSRP.
Good luck with the work especially this time of year in CT.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I am in no position to agree or deny, BUT I do believe you have a healthy budget for buying booze!!!

Agreed, I was very happy to snag the EHT Small Batch for $43 - a very good pour.

I always thought chemically alcohol was a solution. No?
    I don't see a problem here.

not quite. Alcohol is more precisely a solvent, not a solution.

So if follows that if you have a problem, alcohol will solve it.

The problem is when they are all empty.

Your collection is healthy. Mine is 3-4x that. We no longer utilize the wine portion of our bar because we no longer drink it and I need the cabinet space. I’ve got 16 open bottles bar top at the moment. Duplicates of some bottles tucked away in a bedroom closet.

Cmon down my Canadian French brother from another mother. Rules are if it’s open, you can pour it.

I feel bad for our northern brethren who are brown water enthusiasts. Every time we'd head back south from visiting our son and his family, I'd stop at the duty free and grab 2 1L bottles of Woodford DO for $50 USD each. That's cheaper than I can get a 750 mL here. Slim pickings now due to Cheeto-Man's tariffs.
