That's a tough death with the Colonel @billt01.  But it had a great life.  My favourite (nod) pour recognizing the relative scarcity.  A bit of a challenge to find but not over the top price-wise around here.

I have not seen this animal in the wild. I like the small batch, and did score a Bottled in Bond that was also good. I will bet that 12 year will be even better. I put 1792 in my top five mainly because I can buy it.
I drink cheap beer so I can afford good bourbon.

@ColbyLang - Awesome that your wife has the license to buy you whiskey/bourbon.  Well trained in the finest sense of the word.  No chance my wife would take the challenge.  Truth be told I would never yield the keys... B)

She’s a bourbon neat gal. We got off of red wine a few years back and took to bourbon quickly. It’s easy when I come home with a unicorn I might’ve paid more for than I should. We open it and have a few pours

Everyone's pallet is a bit different, but I get butterscotch..

if you are expecting the banana nut bread that many of JD's releases offer, this one will throw you on the 1st pour..

you left out the word "temporary" before "storage"

    Happy birthday, cheers to you.
