roast beast (that's what they call it) with tomatillos basted with a veggie stock mix. grilled butternut slices for a side. Preceded by a fast roasting of chestnuts (open fire ya know...). end of bag cook had me on the last few embers ...
crisped up the butternut slices with direct ring level on the SS grid after they had roasted for 30 minutes up above.

i get given so much food and treats for Christmas that by the time I finish them all it will be Easter and I will have the same shape as an egg. Rather fitting I think.
