I have a beautiful cutting board @CTMike made for me years ago.  It has stood up to daily abuse and looks as good as the day I got it.

My partner knew how much I liked the board (it was one of the first things I brought over to her house).  She knew an Egghead made it, and asked some
more questions over a period of time to figure out exactly who and how to contact them - all without clueing me in.  She went through the months long process of trying to join the forum.  After she finally was approved she touched base with @CTMike and they hatched a plan to build another board for me.

Needless to say, I was shocked over Christmas when she presented me
with this stunning board.  It is an absolutely gorgeous charcuterie board!  I had no idea she had done any of this and look forward to sharing it with her and our friends for years to come.  A big thank you to my partner and to @CTMike for helping her with an amazing gift and building another beautiful cutting board!!! Photos do not do it justice!

Stunner of a board, and great size! Really thoughtful gift from your gal. Hopefully, she will give the forum a go and see how she likes it. Beautiful work, @CTMike.

Thanks for the kind words, I hope it gives you many years of service.

My lesson learned on this on is all future boards will have the handle and curved parts made out of wood. The resin is sanded to 10,000 grit to obtain a mirror like finish. Doing all of the curved and inside the hole was a major PITA.

is she CIA or something?  🤣

Joking aside, beautiful board!  I wish I had the skills, time, and tools to make things like this.  Nice work @CTMike
