Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Feel your pain!  My partners dog ate an entire roasted butternut squash last night I prepped for a soup - thankfully I had made an extra one.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Many years ago, 2013 I believe, I had egged the Thanksgiving turkey and left it on the kitchen island. I went in the other room to catch the score on the Mississippi State Ole Miss game when I looked around and saw that some one was missing . I turned around and my half grown Boxer was on her tippy toes, a paw on either side of the bird and jaws gaping wide. But she didn't get a single bite before being banished to her cage.

A friend of mine worked as BGE Canada's sales rep, he was also doing demo cooks at dealers across the region.

On a weekend before Thanksgiving or Christmas he demo'd a whole turkey cook in front of a store at a small town in Ontario. When the gobbler was ready he went in the store to get some stuff, you guessed it, the bird flew away while he was away! He knew who it was because a two-legged female dog who was watching him cook was no longer in sight!

Ugh. I was working a bar where the owner’s dog downed a pound of butter in less than three seconds, once…

the consequences were felt by all..

  • Coop (RIP) with the grid of shame. Turned my back on him and he pulled the grid off the table and got his tag stuck in it licking all the nasty bits off.
