As the title says (just walking-the-walk):
On the LBGE-(from Costco)

On the altar-

And the $$ shot (of course)-

They were good- (4hours at around 270*f) sides are an option...
Thanks for looking!
Edit: looks like shrunk pics are back...

  • Great lookin’ eats, Cap. Bet those ate beautifully.

Just curious…. Why were the ribs separated prior to the cook? Your choice? Butcher’s offering?

    Also, straight S&P?
  • looks great!  i like the cut you did on the left one!  opens up a lot of options

Ribs came that way from Costco.  A six pack that I split.
S, P, onion and garlic powder and some smoked paprika.

Love the bark and the smoke ring. Neat cutting board with well to collect the juice?

I have done those numerous times from Costco, and they are as good as anything similar I received from SRF.

Cap, as always you stick the landing, and that cook is money. SPOG + smoke pap, is hard to beat on these. They are my favorite way to do them.

    10 out of 10.

Looks just great!  And it's my opinion any beef ribs are never "pedestrian".

  • just ventured out on a four hour walk

  • almost got away from me but ended up perfect. 3.5 hours at 275 and the biggest one hit 205 and probed like buttah

love the slice - thanks cap - makes it work for everyone since i am unfortunately the only football watching neanderthal in the household.

montreal steak seasoning rub (will the costco jug ever run out) and smoked with mesquite and cherry. went great with a bourbon barrel zinfandel

I may have to make a special trip to Costco tomorrow, just for this. I’ve never done them before.
