I don’t post on here much anymore—life’s been busy. Between work and having a 16-year-old, I barely have time to cook. Most nights it’s just the basics… and honestly, how many photos of backyard cooks do you really want to see?
These days my schedule looks like: work, helping Norah juggle college and high school classes, finding time to watch her play sports, and then repeat.
But today was worth posting: Norah kicked off her junior year this morning, and she’s got herself a car. Not exactly the one she had in mind, but definitely one she loves. She even named it Rue.
Proud dad moment. Now back to pretending I’m more than a three-recipe chef.

Whoa! look who's back
This is what makes a little corner of the interwebz feel like family. Seems like you're raising a wonderful young lady, and we've been able to share some of your wins along the way. Maybe you'll even teach her how to park? (I'm kidding!!)Sincerely though, thank you for sharing. Sending lots of eggead vibes her way, for the many successes I am sure she will have.PS- Not that it will likely make any difference, but you could let her know that some of us on the forum have Subies, and like them.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

Awesome! Congrats to you and Norah! I remember the first cooks of hers you posted, man time flies.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
