Mini Brisket cook time

I’m planning to do a small (to me very small) brisket for Wednesday evening dinner. Weighs about 3 1/4 lbs. I’ve done a lot of 15 or so pounders, but only 1 this small before. It turned out great,  but so long ago that I don’t remember approximate timing. It’s a packer if you can call something that size a packer.  Asking for suggested cook time. Thanks

Do you have the full day on Wednesday to cook it?

If yes, fire it up in the morning, and FTC until service. Pack all the dead air space in the cooler with warm towels, newspaper, sheets, etc. It will be fine for many hours.

Get it done early, so you're not chasing the finish.

Thanks. Yep, got all day. Pretty much conclusion I’d reached also. Somehow my  memory kept telling me about 7 or 8 hours??  Anyway, gonna do your suggestion and enjoy. Thanks again.

Well took its time and wrapped up in 9 1/2 hours. In cooler now for attitude adjustment. Should be great. Thanks for your help.

I would not have expected it to take that long. Sounds like you got it done well ahead of service, so that's a win!

Hope you did, or still can, take photos of a “3.5-lb packer”; I can’t picture that even with AI.

Didn’t expect it to take that long either. Thought I remembered 7 or 8 hours from the last one of that size many years ago. Was really good.

Sorry, no pictures. Just didn’t think of it.
