Question - what benefit is there to using this?
It's apparently functional but older. Looks to be in very good condition.
I bake nearly all of my bread but have been ordering flour as I need it, often in 25 lb bags which I freeze. Any comments or recommendations?

When I was all grain brewing, a flour mill was handy for crushing grain.

Think I've read that whole, unground wheat lasts longer than flour, and many of my mormon neighbors have a flour mill/stored wheat (one of their teachings is to have enough food storage to last a year, not a bad idea).
Since you already freeze your flour, not sure what the benefits may be for you.  Pics, please!

I have a Country Living Grain Mill, baking bread from freshly ground flour is amazing.

Head to Basta and Dry Storage on Arapahoe.  They sell all kinds of Colorado grown and further sources heritage grains. Basta is the restaurant, Dry Storage is their bakery/flour business. I think Moxie also has heritage grains you can buy also, but Dry Storage is in deep.  They mill their own for all of their restaurants and a lot of others up and down the range.

It’s like spices - whole spices last longer than ground. I think it’s because ground spices have far more surface area, so the oils oxidize faster.

    Same with coffee, too.
