OT: French Butter Keeper

in the spirit of providing unsolicited opinions— wanted to share that those look great and are worth every penny!

#7 looks like a mandrill monkey abstract. #3 and #6 bring coastal/beach to mind. #5 looks like sand dunes.

@CTMike - could you please share finished pics now of the butter keepers to be fired in November? @caliking would like a look to decide if he should wait. Artist renderings would be fine, as long as they capture both sides.

My uncle hasn’t made the butter keepers for the November firing yet. Also, most pieces go in to the anagama uncolored, the color comes from the various species of wood and resultant ash used for the firing. In this photo, circled in red are three of the butter keepers from this past firing, so there is no way to predict the outcome:

Once I get this batch shipped out I will get another list going, and check in with my uncle to see how many he thinks he will be able to fire in the next batch.
