in the spirit of providing unsolicited opinions— wanted to share that those look great and are worth every penny!

#7 looks like a mandrill monkey abstract. #3 and #6 bring coastal/beach to mind. #5 looks like sand dunes.

    thanks for sharing

    Thanks for the update, Mike.

    If possible, I opt for #4, #7, and #1.
So your first choice is number 4.

@legume gets the next choice, and so on down the line, in order by the date/time people messaged/PM’d me.
Listed in order of preference. I put them all down, to make it easier for my brain. I promise there was no ulterior, or nefarious, motive @Legume !

I'm fine with however you are allotting these. If my other picks are not available, can I opt for the November firing for one (or two)?

I am currently lost - who is left to pick and what keepers are left?

Taking a long shot here, @OhioEgger if you're no longer interested may I take your spot please? That's assuming Mike is okay with shipping to GWN and I get to pick next 😂

If not, Mike can you sign me up for November please? Thanks

@CTMike - could you please share finished pics now of the butter keepers to be fired in November? @caliking would like a look to decide if he should wait. Artist renderings would be fine, as long as they capture both sides.

My uncle hasn’t made the butter keepers for the November firing yet. Also, most pieces go in to the anagama uncolored, the color comes from the various species of wood and resultant ash used for the firing. In this photo, circled in red are three of the butter keepers from this past firing, so there is no way to predict the outcome:

Once I get this batch shipped out I will get another list going, and check in with my uncle to see how many he thinks he will be able to fire in the next batch.

Oh man, my sarcasm didn't travel well.  I was attempting to tease @caliking with my absurd request to see the finished product or artists renderings before they're fired.  I actually love that you don't know what's going to come out until it does.
