Friday Dinner

Today I tried something new, I baked bread for the first time. I saw a cheesy garlic bread video on YT yesterday and knew I had to try it.

My first dough didn’t rise because I added the yeast to cold milk. I tossed that in the garbage and started the dough over. The second batch of dough turned out perfect and baked up beautifully. The wife and daughter loved it.
I also grilled up our first wagyu steaks, and one prime rib eye for dinner along with some mashed potatoes and asparagus. I paired it with a Sea Smoke Pinot noir.

Way to jump in and make it happen. That bread looks too skilled for "right out of the gate". Nailed those steaks. He!! of a banquet.
Sakura is one of my "go to" beef suppliers when they have the random sales. Always great.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
That looks fantastic!
What a result for a beginner, my first bread was a shoe sole as we say here.
Be careful, bread baking becomes addictive and one easily finds himself into an accessory frenzy! -
