Peanut butter and jelly cookie bars

Cream 1 cup butter (room temperature)and 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
Add 1 tsp of vanilla and incorporate 2 eggs (1 at a time) then mix in 2 cups peanut butter.
Now add 3 cups flour and 1tsp baking powder.
Spread 2/3 of dough in 9x13 pan and spread your jelly over top leaving 1/2 boarder
Crumble remaining dough over top
Cook at 350° for 25 minutes
It takes awhile to cool

Can’t beat PB&J. Am now regretting having finished my jar of spicy peanut butter last week. That would have been epic and unexpected in this recipe, IMO.

I went old school with Welch’s grape. We were also doing s’mores at the fire pit last night. Adding a toasted marshmallow to a piece of this was deliciousXL BGE
