Salade Niçoise

This was something I sometimes had in childhood, but had never made until tonight. Lots of components. Only the potatoes and beans are cooked. While I enjoy my potatoes crispy, that was far from the aim for tonight’s dish.

    Beautiful!
I need to start making more "main-course" salads this summer.

Looks incredible @GrateEggspectations !  When I first “really” got into grilling, I used to make grilled salade nicoise with seared tuna … the Mrs liked that a lot and so it stuck for special occasions. Been a long time since I made it.  Yours looks way better!!

Great presentation right there.  Way to branch out.

Love how the colors pop on that plate.

I keep meaning to include more hearty salads for summer meals. Maybe this will give me the right nudge.

I'm going to be that guy who dings you for not posting this under the "Salads and Dressings" subforums.  Do you even forum, brah?

Just kidding that all looks great.  We have started doing more salads for dinners, usually adding some leftover protein I've cooked on the BGE or otherwise from the weekend before.  As a child had you told me I'd grow up to be an adult who gets jazzed over making a salad I would've called you crazy.  And yet, here we are.

Don’t forget that you’re talking to the guy who, despite having been on the forum since 2016, just discovered the “off topic” section due to @Canugghead’s prompting a few weeks back.

Thanks for the kind comments, all. Big, elaborate salads have been a staple for us. So much potential to mix and match ingredients. Love including chickpeas, tofu, halloumi, various veg, etc. -whatever we have on hand, really. Always homemade dressing. Only problem is I always make them too big!
