OT: My fox (Jolene) and her 3 kits :OT

Over the Springtime a dainty little red fox remodeled an abandoned ground hog burrow under my rear deck into a birthing chamber after an apparent one night stand. I have watched the kits nurse, grow, play and become adults. The two males with one clearly practicing becoming a dominate force wannabe in our forest and the third smaller female stayed close to momma. I bid them an unannounced farewell last Saturday night. But I do have fond memories of seeing nature up close plus getting many pictures plus videos of them.

couple years ago had a mom and three little ones about 30 feet from where i parked up on a hill with a dug burrow. they would crawl up the hill military style and stay low and watch the old dog run around. the mom had a gimp leg. only saw the dad a couple times and not with the little ones, thinking he was just around to drop off food and then off again. the new britt would have found them in a heart beatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

I did not know that - and here I besmirched Jolene but it was an honest mistake! But I do wonder why in all the days I saw her nursing them and playing with them - I mean several hours and I taped them and took several hundred shots that I never saw another adult - always just the thin female.
