Chicken wings 20#

Had 20#’s of wings for Sunday and didn’t get to them. Wasn’t about to let them get thrown out. Not a typical Tuesday. But hope they’ll be done in about an hour and can enjoy them at work tomorrow.

20 lbs give or take is about the max on a XL AR unless you let yours touch more than I do. I like a little space between them and I don’t put them right out over the gaps between plate setter.

2.5 hours at 275, it’s bed time. 🥱
normally I fry them, or broil to crisp the skin. This is instant leftovers. Tasted good, ate 4-5 while cleaning up. Will heat up one pan for lunch with partners tomorrow, promised our unit secretary one pan for him and his wife, and my wife would beat me if I didn’t leave her one pan.My wing-0-meater is around 170 pounds YTD now. Most I’ve done at one time.

Great cook. I don't know how much they weighed, but one day I found that I could fit 72 on the XL on one layer. You did mention the caveat of some of them being outside the silhouette of the platesetter, so they cooked faster and I had to move the wings around during the cook, but it all worked out.
Basically, I'm just saying that the XL is a wing machine no matter how you set it up.
I've never maxed out my XXL...

those looks very nice. Yea, I wanted a cook I didn’t have to pay any attention to. Did a workout and then just caught up with an ole buddy on the phone enjoying a cool night on the porch. -
You should fix that. And post pictures.I've never maxed out my XXL...Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

Reheated at work today and they were a big hit. 425 for about 10 minutes. Crisp and perfect considering they weren’t fresh.

I thought this was your finished pic (and was concerned) before I saw the update. 🙃MrCookingNurse06 said:Had 20#’s of wings for Sunday and didn’t get to them. Wasn’t about to let them get thrown out. May have to follow suit for dinner tonight - just not 20 lbs.
Nice cook.
