Chicken wings 20#

Had 20#’s of wings for Sunday and didn’t get to them. Wasn’t about to let them get thrown out. Not a typical Tuesday. But hope they’ll be done in about an hour and can enjoy them at work tomorrow.

20 lbs give or take is about the max on a XL AR unless you let yours touch more than I do. I like a little space between them and I don’t put them right out over the gaps between plate setter.

Great cook.  I don't know how much they weighed, but one day I found that I could fit 72 on the XL on one layer.  You did mention the caveat of some of them being outside the silhouette of the platesetter, so they cooked faster and I had to move the wings around during the cook, but it all worked out.

Basically, I'm just saying that the XL is a wing machine no matter how you set it up.

those looks very nice. Yea, I wanted a cook I didn’t have to pay any attention to. Did a workout and then just caught up with an ole buddy on the phone enjoying a cool night on the porch.

  • Reheated at work today and they were a big hit. 425 for about 10 minutes. Crisp and perfect considering they weren’t fresh.

I thought this was your finished pic (and was concerned) before I saw the update. 🙃

May have to follow suit for dinner tonight - just not 20 lbs.

    Nice cook.
