Today I heard from Lance. He said he can't get onto the forum anymore. The password in my password vault doesn't work and the email I used to set up the account doesn't get a password link sent to it when I use the "I forgot password" link. When I first registered it took a year to get the account approved and I'm just not in the mood to wait again, if it would even work. He feels he got booted from the forum for some reason.

I would shoot this in a forum email to @HannahGreeneEgg as she has been responsive to this sort of issues. FWIW-

Very unlikely he got booted. It’s probably just a glitch. Hopefully Hannah can get him sorted.

I realize I may be stating the obvious, but did @zaphod check his junk mail for the password reset link?

Went through this same scenario for about 2 years , then suddenly everything worked !

In addition to the junk mail folder, I have found emails in the promotions section of gmail.

@caliking - yep, checked junk folder
@calracefan - fortunately faster with @HannahGreeneEgg at the helm
@DoubleEgger - no promotions folder for me. I don't have auto sorting on my inbox and don't allow gmail to do it for me
