Wow, I was 100% kidding. Did nazi the ensuing claim and exchanges coming.Canugghead said:It's a Canadian invention, cease and desist, or pay 100% tariffs 😂canuckland -
I don't understand how it works as a heat sink or whatever and allows you to have a hotter fire. Once heat soaked, how is it any different?
caveat - I didn't watch the video.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
And if you get paid for video views and we're watching in the US, do you have to pay tariffs now?THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

By the way, what’s with your face in all those screen clips? Do you have to make those, or is the person who produces your videos just effing with you?
@JohnInCarolina Nice dunking on @unoriginalusername! You really made someone look like a jackass!South of Columbus, Ohio. -

Community oriented in that they sponsor you?unoriginalusername said:Canugghead said:
jumping ship from KJ?unoriginalusername said:
I’m moving back to BGE this year so more egg stuff coming for 2025Buckwoody Egger said:i personally appreciate the occasional posting of egg specific stuff from unoriginal on here and others have thanked him as well. i don’t think that since he has a commercial enterprise that he can only speak when summoned by the general public.
that being said i have tried a few times to watch the videos and they don’t really work well for me. so my point would be that the content intended to be shared should be typed here. a teaser to a video is not great.I want to do more events and things like that. The only Kj at Memphis in May last year was in the Home Depot demo area. BGE as a brand is more community oriented so that is a better fit for making videos IMO -
There have been a few tries to build a KJ "community" over the years, but non seemed to gain much traction.
I wonder why? Maybe because "Big Green Egg" has a more catchy ring to it? The eggfests of yore? The old-timers/legends who congregate(d) here, and shot the bbq shite before social media options were so abundant?
Would make for an interesting study.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
Say BGE is a sponsor, is there an issue with that as I don't see it?Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

not sure if anything is egregiously out of bounds these days but here’s the ftc guide if it helps explain what the general public are used to seeinglousubcap said:Say BGE is a sponsor, is there an issue with that as I don't see it?

Didn't read much. Bge fests are what got me. You don't have other festivals like that outside of just trying to sell something

Truth. I've made very close friends, cooking on the TX eggfest circuit. BBQ people are the best people... especially eggheadsElijah said:Didn't read much. Bge fests are what got me. You don't have other festivals like that outside of just trying to sell something

Yep. I list sponsors if applicable in every video. I am not a charity (and have never claimed to be)lousubcap said:Say BGE is a sponsor, is there an issue with that as I don't see it?I wouldn’t retail a product for 0% margin if I was a retailer just like I don’t provide free marketing space to brands on social media. There is $0 difference between last year and this year sponsorships, I have my reasons outside of that and the video comes out in the next few weeks. -

The difference is huge. I went to Memphis in May last year and the only Kamado Joe visible was at the Home Depot tent. BGE not only had a brand presence but many teams using them
theres EGGfest, restaurants and overall more opportunities to make social media content at fun events with team green than red.
