Balsamic chicken
Found this recipe online and was thrilled it was for the egg. https://cravingtasty.com/grilled-chicken-breast/ I added 4 extra garlic toes and subbed the marjoram for Italian seasoning. Roasted some cherry tomatoes in olive oil and served everything with my favorite (entomology themed) balsamic as a nice finish. I used 1/3 of the salt listed in the recipe.

Looks great. Making me hungry. “Garlic toes” was a new one for me. Are these simply cloves, or is there stomping involved? 🙂

Years ago a friend of mine turned me on to the value of really good Balsamic vinegar. What a huge difference it makes."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Thanks all! Toes=cloves, perhaps it is a regional thing. Agreed on the good balsamic, I used a higher end but not as aged balsamic for the marinade and just used a drizzle of this really old stuff on the finished product. The cork dropper is a fantastic arrangement so you don’t waste the stuff. It comes with the bottle, which I really appreciate.

Do any of you know if the author of the recipe is active on here or has been in the past? Gave really good instructions in the recipe, I don’t like white meat and this really was delicious.

We used to take our students to tour this balsamic facility. It is amazing and several generations ago it was home to a famous Italian biologist who discovered and named many internal organs in insects. Their white balsamics are out of this world delicious. It is worth a visit if you are ever in the area. https://www.acetaiamalpighi.it/en/

I would guess he named them, he was a fan of taking things apart.
