Food Saver Died

My Food Saver that I bought about 3 years ago died. It was stopping during a vacuum cycle and just turned off, now its dead completely. I didn't use it all the time, I'm not prepping and vacuum sealing food every week, so it was disappointing that it didn't last longer. Is there another brand that you recommend?

Curious as to how it quit( not turn on , week vacuum etc ) personally but, I’d still stick with food saver , I have 2 and a VacMaster chamber sealer , food saver still gets the nod on many sealing tasksVisalia, Ca @lkapigian

I would take it apart and take a look-see, but that's just me

Without going back to my kitchen to see the model number I will HIGHLY recommend getting a low priced FoodSaver which are on sale ALL the time! I used my original one ($110) an unbelievable number of times over 20+ years. I just never understood wasting all that precious counter space to buy one of those $300+ ones only used a few times every week or even less!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

The last Costco ad I saw had them on for about for about $75.

The Anova Chamber sealer is amazing for the price. Bags are super cheap, can even use ziplocks. I have a foodsaver also, but rarely used it because it was a pain. Chamber sealer gets used every few days.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I am looking for something robust enough for my occasional pulled pork side hustle. Been trying to average price, power, and capacity. Reliability and warranty is a major factor.Ozzie_Isaac said:The Anova Chamber sealer is amazing for the price. Bags are super cheap, can even use ziplocks. im also seriously considering the one from Costco (it goes on $100 off sale like once a year) :

I think I’m going to to look at another food saver from Costco as I don’t have a side hustle to justify that expense.Ragingirishman2 said:MaskedMarvel said:
